Water main valves are the heart of your system.
Without valves strategically placed and in working condition, your system is limited in capability and won’t help you in case of an event. They are used to isolate portions and direct flows. These are two imperative aspects of a distribution system. An intensive water main exercise program should be implemented to keep your system in check, and ensure you are ready to handle anything your system may encounter. Untouched valves will seize with time. 90% of seized valves can be freed using our hydraulic valve turner, and returned to manual working condition.
Older valves have rising stems utilize packings to seal the operating portion. These packings leak and we can replace them. Others use gaskets that can also be replaced. Fallen off operating nuts can be repositioned or reinstalled. Sometimes we may need to replace the entire valve.
We also install or repair valve boxes and road levellers.
